Oranges begin with sun, soil, and patience.
Land, family and sustainability.
Our grove is more than rows of trees- it’s a living ecosystem shaped by Florida sun, lake air, and generations of care.
Dr. Bauer, an inspiration to us all.
Mislen Bauer’s connection to the land began long before this grove took root. With years of experience cultivating plants and fruit, she developed not only a deep understanding of agriculture, but a lasting respect for patience and care it demands. Inspired by the rich heritage of old Florida citrus, she set out to preserve a way of growing that values quality over speed, and tradition over shortcuts. What began as a passion has grown into a living legacy- one that reflects both her expertise and her love for the land.
Continuing through generations.
Today, the grove stands as more than a place of cultivation. It is a place of learning, family, and continuity. The Bauer’s remain committed to passing down these traditions to their children and grandchildren, ensuring the spirit of Florida’s citrus heritage continues for generations to come.
“In the evening, just before sunset, the sun turns into a huge, fascinating orange ball. It’s one of the most beautiful hours of the day.”
